The Miss Emanuel County and Miss Southeast Georgia Scholarship Pageants are official preliminaries to the Miss Georgia and Miss America Pageants. The Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit organization that has maintained a tradition for many decades of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum for them to express their opinions, talents, and intelligence. The Miss America Organization is the world's leading provider of scholarships for young women.

During their year of service, our four queens promote their platforms and our community by participating in various civic, social, and charity events. Our Outstanding Teen representatives will compete for the title of Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen in June. While, Miss Emanuel County and Miss Southeast Georgia will compete for the title of Miss Georgia. Both the Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen competitions will be held in Columbus this June.
