Destiny Levant is the 23 year-old daughter of Donnie and Andrea Levant of Reidsville, Georgia. She is a 2012 Honor Graduate of Excellence of Tattnall County High School and a 2016 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S. Ed in Early Childhood Education. Destiny is currently a 5th grade teacher at Toombs Central Elementary School in Lyons, GA. Her love of students and the teaching profession further encourages Destiny to pursue higher degrees in Education to ultimately achieve an Ed.D in Educational Leadership to become an elementary school principal.
Destiny’s strong passion for education dates back two generations, and it also urged her to create a personal platform entitled “A.S.P. for ME: Afterschool Programs for Mastering Education.” Through this platform, she actively promotes the many benefits of afterschool programs and works with local programs to ensure Georgia’s students have access to quality afterschool programs. Destiny has actively served as a volunteer and mentor in various afterschool outlets and thoroughly enjoys educating youth in the afterschool setting through service based activities.
When not teaching in the classroom or volunteering with youth, Destiny enjoys watching college football, taking fitness classes, baking, and scrapbooking. She is extremely excited to interact with the community of Emanuel County and is eager to serve the community in this capacity!
