Addie Freeman

Addie is the 15-year-old daughter of Sonny and Diana Freeman of Lawrenceville, Georgia. She is a freshman at Brookwood High School, where she is enrolled in honors classes and a member of both the 9th Grade football and basketball cheer squads. She is an active member of her church youth group and NG3 Brookwood.

Ever since she was a little girl, Addie could be heard singing around the house. In elementary, she was given a solo in her school chorus spring performance, where she performed “First Time in Forever” from the movie Frozen.  Since then, she has been awarded numerous solos with her middle school chorus, as well as being selected every year for the school talent show. She was also selected by her peers to sing part of “This Is Me” from the movie The Greatest Showman during a student-organized and student-led assembly in response to the Parkland, Florida school shooting.

Addie is very excited to be Miss Southeast Georgia’s Outstanding Teen and cannot wait to promote her platform “Unveiling Juvenile Arthritis” throughout the state of Georgia.  Being diagnosed with arthritis at fifteen months old, and later uveitis at age seven, she is passionate about bringing awareness to this painful and often unseen disease. Whether she is volunteering at Arthritis Foundation events, or raising money for the Jingle Bell Run, she wants everyone to know that kids can get arthritis too!

When Addie is not in school, cheering, or promoting her platform, you can find her hanging out with friends and family, taking her dog, Millie, for a run around the neighborhood, or watching makeup tutorials on YouTube.
